Sorbet
A Kaleidoscope of Berry and Lush Hues in a Space That Reprises Luxury.
Sorbet reimagines the conventional bathware experience centre as an immersive and playful spatial narrative. Inspired by the tart vibrancy of berries and lime, the space balances luxury with a bold indulgence in colour, geometry, and sensory engagement. Located in a prominent South Mumbai neighbourhood, the project transforms the act of product discovery into an intuitive and intrigue driven experience, encouraging patrons to engage with the space beyond the expected.
CONCEPT & EXECUTION
Set within a former rug atelier, the design preserves the site’s inherent character through its soaring volumes, porous street relationship, and elongated spatial axis, while introducing a fresh visual identity. The façade layers fluted glass, clear glazing, and a lime toned trellis to create a permeable threshold that offers glimpses into the vibrant world within. Inside, the space unfolds as a cohesive landscape of mint greens, berry tones, terrazzo textures, and exposed services, celebrating honesty in materiality and infrastructure. The planning ensures uninterrupted visual connectivity across the store, allowing patrons to experience the entirety of the volume from multiple vantage points.

A JOURNEY THROUGH SPACE
Movement through the store unfolds through intersecting circular forms that create semi open product enclosures and layered visual connections. Curved display systems, tiered pedestals, and sculptural fixtures echo the geometry, shaping moments of pause, interaction, and discovery. Beyond redefining the conventional experience centre, Sorbet was envisioned as a playful and immersive journey that invites patrons to engage with space through curiosity, visual storytelling, and a sense of childlike wonder, leaving all notions of the expected at the door.

I told MuseLAB that I wanted to feel like I am on vacation every single day - and they truly delivered.
